Create apps that search our museum and library collections, using the same API that we do. All of our collections are included, with major enhancements to our data about archives coming soon.

Access our digital images using standard International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) APIs. We currently support the Image API, with the Presentation API coming later this year.

Documentation and links for our downloadable datasets, including a full daily snapshot of the Catalogue API and around 5800 Medical Officer of Health (MOH) reports from the Greater London area.


We have a clear, consistent and unified data model that describes our collections, exhibitions and editorial content as a rich graph of linked data. This model is documented as a set of OWL ontologies.
